A turma Speak Up 3 colocou a mão na massa (ou melhor, no risoto!) e preparou um delicioso risoto à carreteira durante a atividade de culinária. Além de praticar o inglês de forma divertida e interativa, as alunas também puderam explorar o vocabulário gastronômico e degustar o resultado final.
Ingredients
- 100 g bacon, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- ½ leek, sliced
- ¼ bell pepper, diced
- 3 smoked sausages, sliced
- 300 g nduja
- 500 g jerked beef, shredded
- 500 g risotto rice
- 1 vegetable stock cube (dissolved in hot water)
- 100 g butter
- 500 g curd cheese (to grill separately)
- Biquinho peppers (for garnish)
- 2 pans
- 1 wooden spoon
- Sauté onion, bacon, leek, garlic, and bell pepper in butter.
- Add sausage, nduja, and jerked beef. Cook ~10 min.
- Stir in rice + stock. Cook ~20 min, stirring occasionally. Add water if needed.
- Grill curd cheese in another pan until golden.
- Serve risotto topped with cheese and biquinho peppers."
